Waste Water

WasteWater is a survival-escape game where you captain a boat through a harsh wastewater. Magnet-fish for scrap, sell it, clean radiated loot, and upgrade your hull, engine, and magnet so you can sail out and escape.

Controls

On foot

• W / A / S / D — Move (camera-relative when outside the boat).

• E — Interact (enter the boat, start magnet fishing when at a fishing spot).

• R — Open / close inventory.

• F — Use shop or upgrade station when in range (if bound in your input setup).

In the boat

• W / S — Throttle (forward / backward).

• A / D — Steer left / right.

• Q — Exit the boat (switch back to outside view).

Magnet fishing

• E — Start fishing when the “Press E” prompt appears at a fishing spot.

• Q — Close the fishing minigame and return to the world.

Menus & UI

• Enter — Continue / close the tutorial.

• Mouse — Navigate and click UI (inventory, shop, upgrades, cleaner).

Gameplay

• Magnet fishing — Sail to fishing spots, press E to lower the magnet and haul in scrap. Some items are radiated and must be cleaned before you can sell them.

• Selling — The shop (north on the map) buys your scrap for currency (e.g. Rivets).

• Cleaning — Take radiated items to the cleaner (a dedicated place on the map) to clean them so they can be sold.

• Upgrades — At the upgrade station, spend currency to improve hull, engine, and magnet so your boat can survive and escape the wastewater.

• Goal — Upgrade enough and sail out of the wastewater to escape.

Tips

• You only move the boat when you’re in the boat view (inside the boat).

• North is where the shop is; use it to turn scrap into currency.

• Save currency for hull, engine, and magnet upgrades — they’re required to escape.

• Open inventory with R to check scrap, weight, and currency.
